Ocean Freight Forwarding
Whether you're moving a single 20' container or a recurring program of full-container-load volume, Masmot Logistics books, documents, and tracks your ocean freight from origin port to final destination. We work across major carrier alliances to secure space and competitive rates on the lanes that matter to your supply chain.
Ocean Freight Forwarding capabilities
Full container load (FCL)
Dedicated container bookings for 20', 40', and 40' high-cube equipment, with rate options across multiple carriers.
Less than container load (LCL)
Consolidated groupage for smaller shipments, so you're not paying for space you don't need.
Door-to-door and door-to-port
Inland haulage on both ends coordinated alongside the ocean leg, or handled as a single port-to-port move — your call.
Booking & documentation
Bill of lading, packing list, commercial invoice, and carrier booking confirmation handled and checked before cargo sails.
Reefer container support
Refrigerated container bookings coordinated with continuous temperature monitoring for perishable and sensitive cargo.
Shipment visibility
Sailing schedules, transhipment points, and estimated arrival dates communicated proactively, not just on request.
How it works
Quote & booking
Send your cargo details and lanes — we return carrier options and all-in pricing, then confirm the booking once you approve.
Documentation
We prepare and verify shipping documents so cargo isn't held at origin or destination for paperwork issues.
Transit & tracking
Sailing status and any exceptions (rollovers, transhipment delays) are flagged as they happen.
Delivery & POD
Cargo is released to your nominated consignee or trucker, with proof of delivery on file.
Common questions about ocean freight forwarding
FCL means your cargo has an entire container to itself — you pay for the container, not by volume. LCL means your cargo shares a container with other shippers' goods and you pay by cubic metre or weight, which suits smaller shipments that don't fill a full box.
Space and equipment on popular lanes can tighten with little notice, so we recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead of your required sailing where possible, longer during peak season (typically August–October on transpacific lanes).
Yes — we arrange door-to-door moves that bundle origin trucking, ocean freight, and destination delivery into one coordinated shipment, or we can hand off at the port if you have your own trucking arranged.
